My husband forwarded me the website … More for Phila Cremation Society after a quick Google search, I was hesitant because I didn't know what to expect and it seemed to good to be true. So I did a little research and decided that this was the place I wanted to use. Everything you will read here (in these reviews) about how easy this process is with PCS is true in my experience. Bart was informative and honest and never tried to upsell me on anything. A few days later, when I called on a Saturday to inquire about a time-line (i had forgotten to ask in my initial grief) I expected to leave a message, but my call was answered by a kind operator who took my info and Bart called me back immediately.. We arranged to meet up on the following Monday when I could pick up both the ashes and death certificate at the same time. The whole process was seamless and I was met with kindness anytime I interacted with someone from the company.

Other companies … More quoted prices 3 times as high before saying they could cut it down to the same price, or promised to deal with things and then failed to.With PCS I was given a reasonable price, the variation from that price was just for additional products at reasonable rates, and everything was taken care of as they said it would be. That stands out given how much of dealing with the death of a relative seems to be designed to be as unpleasant as possible.
